If you are building the most powerful musclecar-era Corvette ever built you will want to top it off with the most detailed and accurate air cleaner assembly available! You also want to slide the correct Holley carburetor under it so we have you covered! The Model Behavior adherence to accuracy pays off here, our designer was neighbors with Wayne Walker who restored the only truly documented ZL1 back in his early teens so this model is personal!
This is actually just a base plate, the air filter on the real car is mounted in the hood with its own ducting for fresh air, the screen around the carb inlet/choke horn was a fire baffle and the foam around the edge sealed the assembly to the bottom of the hood.
Sold individually, you may wish to replace the 3D mesh with craft mesh for your build as 3D printing still has its limitations, especially in 1/24 & 1/25 scale! However, we have successfully printed many of these in 1/25th without issue and we ship them on supports to protect the thin bottom of the screen.
Note - These are now sold with the correct carburetor for the L-88/ZL-1 Corvette to eliminate any potential fit issues with kit carbs or those from other companies.
