The Model Behavior LSX Engine is based on an actual GM LS3 engine and comes with a Holley single plane intake manifold, Holley 4150 style double pumper carburetor, 14"x3" air filter, and all of the accessories. It's mated to a Tremec T-56 transmission designed directly from engineering drawings with every detail on both the engine and transmission fully represented, absolutely authentic in every respect. No other engine/transmission package available is as complete as what we offer and we stay true to our slogan, "Your details are our obsession!"
All of that detail is visible, no matter the scale, available in 1/25th, 1/18th (for the diecast crowd), 1/16th, 1/12th, 1/10th, and 1/8th. The standard configuration for the engine package has the engine assembled with heads, valley cover, Holley conversion oil pan, Holley offset conversion engine mounts, water pump, oil dipstick (handle is separate for 1/12 & 1/8 engines), bellhousing, and transmission together as they are all cast from the same aluminum. If you wish to have them printed separately, that option is available.
All LSX/T-56 packages include an accessory drive system featuring a Sanden AC pump, GM steering pump and reservoir, GM alternator, Model Behavior designed accessory bracket and 8-rib drive pulleys with molded in drive belt, and this accessory system is designed to minimize clearance issues with any installation. For engines in smaller scales, 1/25 to 1/16, the accessories and bracket are all printed together for ease of assembly.
Also included with all LSX/6L80 packages are separate oil filter, Tilton starter, spark plug boots/plugs with 30 degree boots, and hollow long-tube headers with O2 sensor bungs and sensors.
The intake manifold is a single plane Holley manifold with a fully detailed Holley 4150 Double Pumper carburetor (with choke horn) that has linkages and a K&N 14x3" air cleaner. Valve covers included are Holley pedestal style valve covers that mount the included MSD coils, and GM Performance "Chevrolet" valve covers that have separate remote mounts for the coils
